Metalpó started in 1967 as a division of Combustol, which was operating since 1959, making small and medium size powder metal parts (4 to 200 tons of presses). Total land is 30.000 m². In 1978, Metalpó started its non ferrous powders production and until today the water atomization for copper powder and air atomization for tin powder are supporting parts production and also being sold to different industries in Brazilian market and exported to foreign customers. Metalpó has its own design, process and quality resources to develop most of the products. With its own tool room, Metalpó is able to build most of the necessary tools. Metalpó produces sintered part for automotive, electro domestic, electric tools, electric motors and general Industries application, shock absorbers parts, components electric fuel pumps , transmissions parts, starters parts, alternators pieces, cooling system parts, bushing for wipers , pulleys, brake system parts, glass mirror support. The material used is carbon Iron; mixed Iron (Cu, Ni, Mo, Cr); inox steel; steel; bronze and brass. Capacity for sintered parts 120 million units/year and metal powder 900 tons /year.
